Junior Summer Program

The main objective of this program is to provide the student with Spanish lessons combine with fun and touristic activities every day. They will be placed in groups with similar ages and level.

The focus will be improving their communication skills, but the lessons will include writing, listening, pronunciation in a fun and creative environment.

Their lessons usually are in the morning from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. from Monday to Friday or in the afternoon from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. depending on their activities plan for that week.

Depending on the day (see calendar of activities) they will have different activities. Three days from the week they will go out on cultural and fun activities. Some examples are:

  1. Hiking trail through one of Panama´s national parks
  2. Visiting a zoo
  3. Boat ride through the Chagres River to visit different little islands were 3 species of monkey live.
  4. Museums and heritage locations.
  5. Panama Canal
  6. Cinema & Bowling
  7. Paintball
  8. Visit to factories

Two days of the week they will stay at school for workshops as

  1. Painting recycle bags
  2. Quilting a Panamanian cultural image
  3. Making a string art.
  4. Salsa, merengue and reggaeton lessons
  5. Panama cooking lessons
  6. Body painting with our indigenous communities

Calendar example:

  • Lessons per week: 15 hours per week.
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. (50 min. per lessons)
  • Class Length: 3 hours of group class (50 minutes per lesson). 20 minutes of break included.
  • Class size: 7 students max. per class
  • Levels: A1 to C1.
  • Starting date: July 3rd – 28th 2023 (other dates available for closed groups)
  • What includes? Welcome package, cultural activities and workshops every day, Saturday all day trips, transportation from – to the airport, class material, accommodation (homestay family with half board or hotel), and assistance certificate.
