Weekly Activities

At EPA! Español en Panama we believe that if you are looking to have a full immersion into the Hispanic language you not only need to learn the language but also get to know the culture of the country. That is why EPA! has weekly cultural activities for our students. These activities are always schedule for Thursday afternoons or similar. The students will take their morning group classes and then join the activity choose for that day.

EPA! Will cover for the transportation and the student may pay an extra fee for the activity itself, but do not worry most of the activities are at a low cost or no cost at all.

Here are some examples of the activities you can enjoy during your immersion program:

Coffee tasting & learning

Boquete has been awarded best coffee in the world And you can visit multiple locations to do tour and tasting of it.

Thematic Garden the explorer

This incredible garden is open for you to explore hundreds of flowers and birds and everything Has been recycled in it. It is a great place to relax.

Public library

This library has been built recently and it is a great location to visit and admire the building and read a good book from it or bring your own.

Hiking in multiple trails

It is a paradise for hiking with multiple trails you can do in just 1 to 2 hours. We will take you and recommend you incredible places.

Waterfall extravaganza

If you like fresh, transparent rivers then you will love to visit with us multiple ones where you will be able to swim or just relax next to them.

Boquete Bees and butterflies

This property is incredible, and the butterfly’s area is one of the most beautiful in Panama. You can see hundreds of different types of butterflies and learn so much about them. In the same place you can do honey tasting and learn about bees and honey.

Strawberry picking

In this location you will have so much fun! Imagine picking yourself the most delicious strawberries that you can also take home to yourself! Also, you will learn how they grow as well as multiple other vegetables that can grow in Boquete.

The farm

You will be able to get your hands dirty and learn how they do things in farming in Boquete. Also you will be able to feed some animals and be involve in the process of farming

Boquete Flower fair

Here you will find hundreds type of flowers plus also buy local handicrafts, plants, and many other things that are made in the area or from the indigenous tribes nearby.

Hanging Bridge tour

You will love this adventure where you can explore the beauty of nature from above! The bridges are about 10 to 135 meters long and can reach a high from the ground of 10 to 75 meters. From here you can see even the famous “Baru” Volcano.

Canopy in the clouds

This is incredible and you will be able to go through 12 platforms full of adrenaline and excitement. This activity has a route of 4.5 kilometers long and you will be flying through the forest in a very safe way with the experts.

Boquete Brewing Company

In here we will have so much fun! You will be able to taste local made beer, also live music and bands and delicious food from food trucks. This is the ideal place to have fun and party.

High top-quality restaurants

We will organize outings to have dinner in some of the best restaurants that Boquete offers. From the famous Panamonte to eating at The Rock, Donde Gisselle, Tre Scalini, Valle Escondido restaurant, and many other top CHEFS in Panama.

We also have once a month excursion on Saturdays or over the weekend. Some of these activities may be:

White water river rafting one of the top locations in Central America.

Island Trip at Chiriqui Gulf

Baru Volcano climbing the rainforest to see both oceans

Volcan Town and Cerro Punta

Bocas Del Toro (Caribbean sea)
