I have been attending Spanish classes at the EPA Language School in Panama City Panama for three weeks. It’s been really great. My Spanish has improved so much. The professors here are very good and they are very focused on my success. There is a group event every week which has been a great way to see the sites of the city while practicing the language.  The staff at EPA has been very helpful – including the details of travel, local issues, etc.  I have used the homestay option for housing.  It’s been really great.  My host family is very friendly and very happy to help me achieve my goal. It’s a great way to get to know the local foods and the neighborhoods. I recommend homestay to anyone trying to learn the language. Panama is a very safe country- I am totally comfortable traveling by myself.  I would recommend EPA Panama City to anyone.”

I opted for the intensive classes and I have no regrets in getting those classes. I have met wonderful people and new friends here as well.

I was in the Philippines when I found EPA! online while our group was still searching for our Spanish school here in Panama. They were so accommodating in addressing our concerns. They even did a Zoom call for our group to clarify our questions. And after I arrived in Panama and visited their office, I knew I made the right choice. It felt right. On my 3rd month now and I’m happy with the things that I’m learning and the people I’m meeting. EPA! also helped me with my student visa application. Give EPA! a try!

I just came back, and I loved it! Very nice, helpful and competent staff. Not only does the school organize activities and outings in Spanish that allow students to get to know each other and practice their language skills in different settings, they were also extremely helpful with suggestions for excursions to do on my own. I stayed with a family so I got to speak Spanish with natives all day long and try real homemade Panamanian food 😉

EPA is AMAZING! Learn the language while making life long friends and creating everlasting memories. This is such a great way to learn or practice your Spanish and to learn about the different indigenous groups. Lia and Alberto were so helpful and created a safe and enjoyable homestay. They plan everything very well and our days were filled with fun activities.

If you’re thinking about joining EPA! to learn Spanish—DO IT! The staff and professors (shoutout to my professora, Patricia!) are so kind, patient, attentive, flexible, and most importantly, effective at teaching you Spanish. The small group setting and mix of activities (reading, writing, conversation, listening, etc) have really helped me improve in my Spanish proficiency.

What makes EPA! special is that they also prioritize cultural immersion on top of language learning, which helps you learn the language even more. As a school, we’ve practiced yoga, visited museums, adventured to San Blas islands, and picnicked in the park—all while practicing our Spanish!

EPA! has been one of my favorite parts of moving to Panamá not only because it’s helped me learn Spanish but because of the cultural experiences and the community of friends I’ve made!
