What Is the Spanish Club in Panama?
The Spanish Club in Panama is one of our most popular activities and takes place every Friday. It is designed to bring students together, create a friendly and welcoming environment, and—most importantly—take language learning outside the classroom. This is a unique opportunity for students to interact in Spanish in a relaxed and fun setting while participating in a variety of educational games and challenges that reinforce what they have learned throughout the week.
Fun and Educational Activities
At the Spanish Club in Panama, we have created a series of games that are not only fun but also highly effective in improving Spanish fluency and comprehension. Some of our favorite games include:
- Headbands: Students place images on their heads and, by asking questions in Spanish, try to guess what they are. This game helps practice vocabulary and grammatical structures.
- Guess Who?: A classic guessing game that reinforces the ability to make descriptions and ask questions in Spanish.
- Word Dominoes: A game that challenges students to match related words, improving their vocabulary.
- Memory Game with Different Vocabulary Sets: A game that challenges memory while reinforcing new words and expressions.
- Jenga Party: Each Jenga block includes a question or challenge in Spanish.
- Party & Co.: A team game that combines different language skills through a series of mini-games.
- Spanish Taboo: Students must guess words or concepts without using forbidden words, strengthening their ability to paraphrase and describe.
