Discover the Spanish Club at EPA!: An Added Value to Your Spanish Program

At EPA! Español en Panama, our Spanish Club in Panama offers a unique language learning experience that goes beyond the classroom. With nearly 17 years of success in teaching Spanish as a second language, and certification from the Instituto Cervantes, we’ve designed programs that cater to the individual needs of each student. But did you know that by joining any of our programs, you also gain access to activities that enrich your learning experience? One of these benefits is our Spanish Club.

What is the Spanish Club?

The Spanish Club is one of our most popular activities, held every Friday. It’s designed to integrate students, foster a sense of community, and most importantly, take language learning out of the classroom. This unique opportunity allows students to interact in Spanish in a relaxed and fun environment, participating in a variety of games and educational challenges that reinforce what they’ve learned throughout the week.

Fun and Educational Activities

In the Spanish Club, we’ve created a series of games that are not only fun but also highly effective in improving Spanish fluency and comprehension. Some of our favorite games include:

  • Headbands: Students place images on their heads and, through questions in Spanish, try to guess what they are. This game helps practice vocabulary and grammatical structures.
  • Guess Who?: A classic guessing game that strengthens the ability to make descriptions and ask questions in Spanish.
  • Word Domino: A game that challenges students to connect related words, enhancing their vocabulary.
  • Memory with Different Vocabularies: A game that tests memory while reinforcing new words and expressions.memory spanish club epa panama
  • Jenga Party: Where each Jenga piece has a question or challenge in Spanish.
  • Party & Co.: A team game that combines different language skills in a series of mini-games.
  • Taboo in Spanish: Students must find words or concepts without mentioning the forbidden words, which enhances their ability to paraphrase and describe.

An Invaluable Added Value

Participating in the Spanish Club offers our students the opportunity to experience Spanish in real-life situations, practice their pronunciation with native speakers, and enjoy the cultural richness of Panama. It’s a space where learning accelerates and becomes more meaningful by integrating theory with practice in a relaxed setting. Some of our activities are outside the school.
