Spanish Teachers Workshop
Spanish teachers are crucial for learning. Thanks to them we have some of the best schools in Panama. Spanish teachers are in charge of showing you the language in an easy way. Being a Spanish teacher involves a lot of study and preparation.
At EPA! Español en Panama we always keep our teachers trained with the latest teaching methods. As you already know our school is a certified center by Instituto Cervantes. Being a certified school one of the requirements is having qualified teachers on the ELE teaching methods. As a school we always want our students to receive a top-quality education with the latest methods in ELE.
ELE stands for (Español como lengua extranjera) Spanish as a foreign language.
The idea of this workshop is to provide our teachers with updated information for teaching. We love to teach Spanish and our spanishSpanish teachers love their work too. Therefore we want to make sure our teachers have the newest teaching techniques available.
On Saturday 28th of March 2020, we had the first part of our workshop through a virtual platform (zoom) based on the latest ELE teaching methods.
Some of the topics they saw in the workshop were:
- The common European framework of reference (CEFR).
- How to apply the CEFR to the field of Spanish as a foreign language according to the Instituto Cervantes.
- Understand the differentiation by levels and the characteristics of each one.
It was a successful workshop and our teachers had time to exchange personal knowledge and experiences. In addition, we evaluate our teachers in special skills.
